Unfortunately I feel that I have to give a negative token. The swap was accepted early in Oct and as requested, because I had fewer tokens, I sent mine first with delivery confirmation. At the time I sent it I emailed the other side and advised her it was shipped with delivery confirmation and asked her to let me know when she has sent her end and what the delivery confirmation # was. I kept checking and verified that my side was received on Oct 16. The recipient profile stated that she ships only on Fridays so I was assuming that it would be sent out the following Friday, Oct. 23. Well Oct 23 came and went and I had not heard any response so I sent a message or 2 asking for updates and got no response. Now we were into Nov and I had still not heard a word. On Nov 7, I was able to locate her personal email address on her profile and I sent an email to her asking for an update and the delivery confirmation # as I had not gotten the package, nor had I ever heard if she sent it out. I did get a response 2 days later with the explanation that she had overlooked sending her end out, due to issues the site was having, and that she would send it out right away that same day and include an extra gift for my troubles. So I waited and waited and still nothing came in the mail. I also did not get an email back, as requested, advising me that it was in fact sent out and of the delivery confirmation #. I would have imagined that after all this time the common courtesy of actually letting me know it was sent should have been a given. So 10 more days later on Nov 19, I again emailed her and explained how frustrated I was and that I just wanted to know if she was going to ever send it to me or not. I got a response again on Nov 20 explaining that she did sent it out the day she had said she would (Nov 9)but that she does not send things with delivery confirmation due to the extra cost, but she included an extra scarf and a pair of hoops for my troubles. Well this was all fine and dandy but it would have been nice if I would have been told from the get go that it was not going to be sent out with delivery confirmation, especially since I asked for that specifically numerous times in numerous emails. It also would have been nice if the package would have been rushed when it was finally sent out because of the blunder of not sending it out promptly in the first place. I understand that extra items were included in the package to try to make up for the blunder, and I do appreciate the gesture, unfortunely neither the hoops nor scarf are items that are my taste or style so they do no good to me. Sorry but that is just honest. Despite everything when I did finally receive the package on Nov 20, I had planned to give you a neutral token and finally be done with the deal. However, due to the condition of the top I decided I could not do that. Your description of the top is below and I completely disagree with it. The top is not in “Great Condition!” The fabric is slightly faded, which is to be somewhat expected, but there is many, many beads which make up the flower pattern missing throughout the whole pattern. This includes the entire center of one of the flowers that happens to be in the front and center. I am not sure how this would be considered “Great Condition!” I understand that this is a swapping site for used clothes, but I would expect that the description would reflect the actual condition of it and if there are beads missing that the description would reflect it somehow.

Great condition! Size XL in Juniors. Would be very cute for fall and a great layering piece! Even has a touch of sparkle in it! Will swap for $18 value or will sell for $10 (price includes shipping in U.S.) I accept paypal and money orders.

I want to add to this after reading your unjust and inaccurate negative token comments on me regarding our swap. I may have fewer tokens than you, but apparently have figured out a way to manage my swaps were I am able to take responsibly of them myself vs., relying on the website and passing the blame or lack of courtesy and communication from you off on it.
I am shocked to have read your comments! I never claimed the top was in new condition, but it had more life left in it which is more than I can say regarding the top I received from you. My top was completely in wearable condition as it had no holes, stains or any other marks on it. The fabric was starting to show some wear however was much better than yours and many other tops that I have received in other swaps. I was never embarrassed to wear my top it public and still received compliments on it regularly. Last time I checked this is a sight for swapping items some of which are used and only if it claims to be new or new without the tag would I expect it to be in new condition, which I never claimed it was. However to correct you regarding the top you sent me, it is not able to be worn and I have had to throw away. The fabric was slightly faded which I was able to look past, as I wasn’t expecting it to be in new condition because you didn’t claim it was, however that was not the only issue. The top you sent me was missing numerous of the little “sparkle” beads that you claimed it had and added to it, including the entire center of one of the flowers, which was in the middle of the front, where you can easily see the glue that previously held them in place. I find it odd that this negative comment only arouse after I was forced to give a negative token to you. The top I sent you, you received it on Oct 16, and after numerous emails over the following month you was finally able to get around sending your shirt to me. Never once during those emails, none of which were initiated by you, did you mention any disappointment about the shirt had you received from me. If you would have expressed any disappointment, I would have been more than happy the take my top back as I could have at least continued to wear it, which is more than I can say about the top you sent me. After a month of emails to you I finally received your top around Nov. 20, only to see your comments that you are blaming the site and issues it was having instead of taking ownership as being the one responsible for keeping track of items you are sending and receiving.

She has less than 5 tokens and doesn’t realize how our process works & that this site had its glitches which meant miscommunication and no swapstyle mail on my part!! The top I gave her still had tons of life in it as I still wore it until I swapped it!
