But with such a large store, shouldn't they double and triple check there murchandise (sp) before they put it out in catalogs or stores so they don't make a huge mistake like *cough cough* this?!?

I think I'm most upset not at the actual stores, but more at the labels that were busted using dog/raccoon dog fur...some of my favorites! Michael Kors, DKNY...even Rocawear! How did this ever happen?!

yeh but whoever made the labels were told it was fake, so thhey made a zilliont ags without really noeing.

Has anyone looked into this rumor to see if it is even true? You might want to check your facts before you decide to stop doing business somewhere.
You have to be able to take critisism in order to be able to come to the point that noone will have anything more to critisise you about.

i had no idea. omg i haven't shopped there in a while ne way, thanks for giving me that news. my friend used to loves that store but she loves dogs way more, she has one, shes never gonna shop there again.

Dog fur...omg...that's so messed up! I can't believe I even shop there! And they didn't even acknowledge how bad that is - they just told workers to cross it off?? GRR T_T I'm boycotting that place

If you go on to read the article they aren't actual domestic dogs. They are called raccoon dogs and it’s on the Federal Trade Commission’s list of fur that is legal to sell in the United States. It’s not a dog.
I still wouldn't wear it! But it isn't illegal.

The dog fur that they are using could be from dogs that are already dead. It doesn't mean that they are killing dogs for their fur. I'm very much for getting the most use out of animals that are breed for our use! A.k.a. eating hamburger meat and using the leather. Using leather from dairy cows that are no longer producing milk, shearing sheep for their wool so they will we cooler in the summer. I'm from an agricultural background and I'm very much for letting farmers keep their jobs and controlling the population of the animals they are farming
